Special Guests
Each year at the Elvis Festival we always have a special guest (or guests) join us. Since the very first Festival 35 years ago we've played host to almost every big name in the Elvis world. From movie co-stars to some of his best friends, and from bodyguards to those who made music with him, we've welcomed them to the event where they have given exclusive interviews and autograph and photo sessions just for those in attendance. After the amazing TCB Band performing live for us in 2013, a fabulous interview with Jerry Schilling in 2014 as well as acclaimed Elvis artist Betty Harper and Elvis' cousin Wayne Mann we're pleased to announce we'll have yet another stellar line-up of star guests for this year's event. Keep checking back for updates, but firstly we're pleased to announce our first guest.
Jerry Scheff
One of the most acclaimed Bass players in the history of modern music, Jerry has worked with everyone from Bob Dylan to The Doors. But his most well known work is with Elvis Presley with whom he worked for as part of the TCB Band from 1969.
Jerry appeared on Aloha from Hawaii, Back In Memphis, That's The Way It Is, Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden, the documentary movie from 1972 Elvis On Tour, and Moody Blue, among others.
Jerry will be appearing alongside Mondo Carne in a live performance as well as doing an interview as well.
